330ml bottle at Cowes Ale House. Shared with Finn. Pearl white head, clear dark amber body, dotted spots on the glassware. Prominent dried fruity aromas, hints of caramel as well. Fine blended taste of plums and caramel supported by yeasty fruitiness. Ends mid-sweet malt-fruity. Fine depth. Likeable. (Cowes 20.10.2022).

Half-pint, draught at Cowes Ale House. Shared with Finn. Upper part lacing on the glass from a decent white head, near-clear golden body. Floral fruity nose, joined by pale malts. Malt-fruity flavours, ripe citrus fruits and cereal malts. Distant moments of malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Quite alright. (Cowes 20.10.2022).

Half-pint, draught at Cowes Ale House. Shared with Finn. Clear late straw coloured body leaving rings of lace down the glass, covering white head. Moderate grainy malts on the nose, semi dry. Rounded, subdued taste profile of pale malts with moments of noble hops. Drying end. Soft on the swallow. Fair enough. (Cowes 20.10.2022).

500ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Coffee, spices and dark chocolate in the aroma. The taste is rather spicy, perhaps a bit too spicy, with the nutmeg standing out and the coffee, chocolate and vanilla notes lurking in the background.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour. Melon and some notes of tropical fruit in the aroma. The taste is fruity but also slightly biscuity, with notes of citrus and tropical fruits detectable but relatively subdued.

Draught (Boojum & Snark, Sandown) - Golden in colour. Buttery aroma, almost a bit Czech, with hints of grass. The taste is grassy and slightly buttery. Tastes like it it has been decoction mashed, but apparently it hasn't.
