Big creamy white head over pale yellow body with carbonation. Faint sweetish light malty aroma. Taste is light, delicate bitter grass and milky malts with a dry, chalky aftertaste. Good for a pilsener. (0.25l on draft.)

Bottled. Deep golden colour, mediumsized foamy head. Malty and hoppy nose along with a weak sting of alcohol. Flavour is sweet malty, with some hops balancing up the sweetness. Some breadyness and weak fruitiness also noteable. A bit papery in finish, and stivky, but dry palate.

Bottled (BB 07/2006)
Thanks to Zoli, ha1ag for this one.
Golden color, small creamy white head. Nose is more sweet malty than hoppy, wet newspaper is dominant aroma. Medium-bodied. Cardboard flavor with el cheapo grassy hops. Some sweetness in the finish and even alcohol. Not much "cuvée", not even much pilsener.

Bottle. Sweet, malty aroma with a little hops. Clear, dark red/chestnut colour. Big, light brown head. Semi-sweet flavour, balanced OK by alcohol and some bitterness. Short caramelly, peppery aftertaste.

Bottle. Fruity aroma, seems a little peppery. Golden colour, stable white head. Slightly sweet flavour, malty. Bready aftertaste with a harsh bitterness. Seems like a dortmunder to me. 7 3 5 3 10

Draught, 5.5%. Very weak aroma. The flavour has a little malt and nice white bread. The finish is more like rye. Creamy mouthfeel. Quite clean. 5 3 5 3 11

Backlog 2006. Clear pale golden, frothy stable slightly off-white head, good lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grassy hops. Mild taste, malty, hoppy. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation, mild sweetbitter aftertaste, more bitterness in the finish, fruity notes, rather pleasant.

Bottle: Pale golden, quickly diminishing white foam; grainy, a bit bready nose with a touch of vanilla; faint sweetish-bitter flavour, very light bodied to watery; thinnish, watery, slightly bitter finish. Clean, boring and bland.............

Bottled. Rubyish amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramellish malts with hints of strawberries. Flavour is toffeeish, very candylike. But at the same time quite watery, not that exciting. Lack of alcohol leads to lack of "beerish" ingredients. More like a soda or lemonade.

What do they call this Cuvée? Dark golden pils with a white head. Again, german hops but nos as skunky as Urtyp. Oxidized malt with no hops in mouth, too sweet. Boring. May 1,2005 at 2nd KBC Festival, Den Bosch, NL.
