Draught Huge yellow-amberish, slightly irregular head; beautiful red-chestnut colour. Very nutty, sweet-alcoholic smelling, even jam-like. Sweet taste, brown sugar, leaves, caramel or toffee flavours, nutty. Very slick, even a tad syrupy, fatty. Very classical, but I must confess, far from bad. Sweetness has been the option, but despite that it shows some character.

Bottle: Poured a reddish dark brown with thick creamy light brown head. The aroma was wood and bark. The flavor was a sweet syrup malt.

Fruchtiger Geruch mit süßlich-hopfiger Note. Malziger, sehr bitterer Antrunk. Test vom 24.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,8,11,8,10 - 9,50

This is a good pilsner. Tried on draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Aroma has moderate hops. Bright gold color, tall head, and very well carbonated. Flavor is lightly bitter, some hops, and dry. Clearly recognizable as a pilsner, and one of the better pils to be found outside of the Czech Republic.

Hopfiger, sehr milder Antrunk. Test vom 22.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 5,8,7,6,6,6 - 6,35

Draugth. Clear yellow / golden color with a average fizzy fair lacing white head. Aroma is light malty and hoppy. Flavor is light sweet and bitter with a short duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Easy to drink, but very boring.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Bright golden, small head. Light buttery crystal malt aroma. Sweet with clean, solid, dense, rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and medium bodied with some salty, grassy hops. Medium bitterness.
