A big fresh fruity nose with grass and apricots. The American hops provide a punchy fruity hops foreground taste. Tropical fruit, mango, orange, lemon and lime are all there in addition to classic grapefruit elements. Apricots and solid biscuit, chewy caramel malt provide a solid backdrop to a great sweet, hoppy imperial.

Bottle. Clear yellow pour, with a very large white head. Aroma is grassy, and herbacious, with some woody, vinous notes. Light white grape, hints of basil and slight funk. Touches of wet hay, soft mouth feel, soft carb. Medium bitterness, fruity, acidic, slightly funk finish.

Tap at the mondiale 2014. Dark purple pour, with a dark pinkish purple head. This was a big beer, and quite sour. Loads of dark berries innthe aroma with copious amount of funk! This was way more sour than i expected. Lots of sour and funk, and its balanced quite well by the juicy, sweet, berry flavors. Quite impressive.

pitch black pour, aroma of roasted malt, some light sweet cherry, and a touch of lactic funk. The cherries, come through a bt, but are dominated by all the roasted malt, and the hops are pretty muted, they add some bitterness to the finish and thats about it.

On tap au mondiale 2011. Great resinous piney hop aroma, with a touch of grassy malt. Regular mouthfeel, if anything a touch thin for a dipa. Great bitterness, and hoppy citrus finish with a touch of soapiness from the high alpha hops. Nice beer.
