Canned (from Alko Web.). Black colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, alcohol and some mild dried fruity elements. Flavour is pretty much following the pattern of the aroma, but also has some oaked tones. Sweetish, but actually not overly so. Good sipper.

Can from Waitrose. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light melon and peach. Taste is more of the same. Thin finish.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - murky pale yellow. White head. Nose - peach, melon and apple. Taste - peach, melon and apple again. General fruit salad. Palate - decent body given the ABV, creamy texture, dry finish. Overall - happy to drink this.

Can, small long lasting creamy head, hazy quite light orange colour, lots of citrus, some green notes, flowery and fruity hints, light to medium mellow citrusy bitterness. Soft and easy.

Draught. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is passion fruits, lactose, coriander and some slight wooden tartness. Flavour is passion fruit, some hay, grass and mild tart wooden notes with some lactose and slight acidity.

Can from Sainsbury's local, Rosemount. It pours black with a khaki head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, big ole hit of coffee, espresso, toasted nut, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, praline and burnt toast. The taste is drying, dark roasted malt, charred, decent hit of bitterness, plenty of coffee, espresso, dark chocolate covered coffee beans, touch of acidity, burnt toast, touch of spice and some alcohol with a dark roast espresso finish. Medium body and average carbonation. One of the best beavertown beers I've had in some time. Satisfying and moreish.

Bottle from the cellar. A thick dark black brown coloured pour with a fading loose dark tan head. Aroma is meaty roast, boozy wood, raisin, roast, boozy cakey malts, Flavour is composed of salty roast, nice tirmisu, coffee , black roast, spicy wood, woody whisky, lingering salty roast. Palate is semi sweet, oily, rounded, fine carbonation. Nice intense roast. This has aged very well.
