Description
Beavertown was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Robert Plant, singer with Led Zeppelin. At first established as a brewpub in De Beauvoir Town, East London as part art of the Duke's Brew and Que experience. Expanding means moving! In 2012 to Hackney Wick and in 2014 to Tottenham Hale.
In June 2018, it was announced that Heineken would be buying a minority stake, so that Beavertown could spend £40 million on a new brewery and visitor site. The new brewery was launched in 2020, with a capacity of 500,000 hectolitres, a ten-fold increase in their previous capacity.
As of 7 September 2022 Heineken has taken complete control of Beavertown and now has 100 per cent ownership. Founder Logan Plant will stay on as an adviser.

Canned. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a big foamy/creamy white head, which leaves lace. Aroma is sweet malts, tropical fruits, some mango and mild dried apricot. Flavour is very similar to the elements of the aroma, but also has a nice crisp bitterness to it. Lovely

Can from Tesco. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Strong pineapple and grapefruit aromas, some passion fruit too. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter finish. Best I've had from Beavertown for a while.
