Description
Beavertown was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Robert Plant, singer with Led Zeppelin. At first established as a brewpub in De Beauvoir Town, East London as part art of the Duke's Brew and Que experience. Expanding means moving! In 2012 to Hackney Wick and in 2014 to Tottenham Hale.

In June 2018, it was announced that Heineken would be buying a minority stake, so that Beavertown could spend £40 million on a new brewery and visitor site. The new brewery was launched in 2020, with a capacity of 500,000 hectolitres, a ten-fold increase in their previous capacity.

As of 7 September 2022 Heineken has taken complete control of Beavertown and now has 100 per cent ownership. Founder Logan Plant will stay on as an adviser.

Tap @ Patricks. Unclear pale golden body under a small white head. Mild, slightly funky aroma with hint of grapes. Light and delicate in the nose. Taste is very smooth with pale malt, mild wood, slightly acidic grapes, tannin bitterness and hint of funk. Medium body with a very pleasant aftertaste. Smooth, fresh and nice, another great one from the Tempus project.

Thin beige head on a hazy vivid pale golden coloured body. Cardboard, ashtray & citrus aroma - had to check the BBE date but only recently canned. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a sticky back - hardly any carbonation. Floral, kiwi, mango & earthy tastes. Lacking in all parts - Poor.

Can, small bubbly head, very hazy lightish orange colour, lots of citrus and some tropical fruits and just a hint of onion, medium citrusy bitterness, feels just a little diluted. Nice.
