Description
Beavertown was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Robert Plant, singer with Led Zeppelin. At first established as a brewpub in De Beauvoir Town, East London as part art of the Duke's Brew and Que experience. Expanding means moving! In 2012 to Hackney Wick and in 2014 to Tottenham Hale.
In June 2018, it was announced that Heineken would be buying a minority stake, so that Beavertown could spend £40 million on a new brewery and visitor site. The new brewery was launched in 2020, with a capacity of 500,000 hectolitres, a ten-fold increase in their previous capacity.
As of 7 September 2022 Heineken has taken complete control of Beavertown and now has 100 per cent ownership. Founder Logan Plant will stay on as an adviser.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of Damson plums, funk, brett, and malt. The flavor is very sour with notes of brett, funk, damson plums, and malt, leading to a tart finish.

Tap @ Patricks. Slightly unclear golden body under a fine, big, white head with lacings down my glass. Delicate aroma, pale malt, fruity, distinct oak and mild funk and hint of white berries. Taste is quite smooth with soft pale malt, light citric fruit, distinct oak, apple and hint of acidity and vanilla. Some bitterness becoming more recognizable after a few sips. Balanced body with rather dry aftertaste. Nice, tasty, balanced and gentle funkiness. Could easily have a lot of this.

Can picked up at Meny (Frederiksberg) and drunk at home (28/01/2023) - very light hazed golden pour with a white head. Grassy and grainy, notes of straw, hay, sweet citrus fruity suggestion, light body, subdued hoppy finish.

Tap @ Patricks. Slightly unclear pale golden body under a medium sized white head. Mild aroma, pale malt, citric fruit, white currants leave and grapes. Taste is medium sweet, soft, pale malt, citric fruit, grapes and decent bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Far from offensive, easy drinkable, relatively light in taste, quite straight forward thirst quenching pale ale.

33cl can, du M&S pas loin de notre hôtel à Earl's Court.
BB 08/06/2023, canned 08/09/2022.
