Slightly hazy copper-amber colour. Some woody hop notes and crystal malts. Resiny, with lots of crystal malt, and a little toasty.

2004 bottle consumed 3/31/05. Yellow-amber body is horribly clear with a good-sized white head, moderate to low retention. Aroma of fruit juice, apples, peaches, pears, lightly resinous hops, by no means very bitter, with a bit of a dry papery feel to it. Some faint toastiness and bread from the malt. Flavor has the good fruitiness going for it, with a true enough hops flavor, but it’s so clean, hard and American-feeling (in a bad way) that I can’t get excited about it. Boring mouthfeel, almost gets syrupy and reminds me of the liquid that comes with a can of peaches. Tastes pasteurized.

Bottle Pours a clear light golden with a large fluffy head that collapses in just a minute. Spotty chunky lacing. Aroma is definately the german variety of hefeweizen with the distinct yeasty spice. Flavor is very mild light grain taste. Very thn light bodied and just that german yeast flavor to make an attempt and something interesting. It doesn’t quite succeed. Drinkable I suppose but not very interesting. Barely a trace of hops. Very soft carbonation, nearly flat and a slight woody aftertaste. Lacking any bitterness.

This is good. Surprisingly thick and heavy. Sweet malt without the alcohol dominance that ruins several beers of this style. Standard malt aroma. Brown with a red tint. Sweet malty goodness, with light wheat and fruit flavors also. Like Fuller’s 1845, but not as heavy or complex.

A hazy amber beer with a small disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes fo alcohol and caramel. The flavor is of straw, alcohol, and caramel, the body is nice.

Pour is a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is of very slight hops. Flavor is way to watery and thin to even write about. This needs lots of everything.

Pour is a very dark red with little or no head. Aroma is malty. Flavor is like a malt kick in the pants. Lots of malts used in this one but it makes it also a one trick pony. Really a good malt brew but i also think it could use some more complexity.

Pour is orange with a white head. Aroma of hops hit you first thing. Flavor is slightly hoppy but more of a malt backbone. This is a beer that smells better than it tastes. Not really bad but a tad to thin.

Pour is a deep dark with no real head. Aroma is carmel and smoke but very light. Flavor has lots of carmel malts and a nice chocolate touch. The downside is that it is kind of weak in both aroma and flavor, nothing really stands out. Average at best.
