Keg at bottle shop tap takeover. Amber / dark orange coloured pour with a off white thin lasting head. Aroma is semi sweet nutty , musty, faint treacle. Flavour is composed of tangy musty sweet woody, sugars, little cinnamon, star anise, treacle. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, little chewy.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy, ginger orange. Film of sticky, off white head. The hops come across grassy, pithy, and slightly earthy. There’s a little blackcurrant in there, too. Against that there’s a spicy, biscuit maltiness. Taste is pithy bitter. Little bit of sweet. A light, earthy dryness to it, maybe. Crisp, clean palate, with a zesty punch. Finishes long, moderately bitter, with some of the spice thing showing up in the close. Possibly not a typical APA, but looking at the ingredients, I suspect that was the idea. Very nice.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Bermondsey, London. Pours perfectly clear amber-gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds damp and grainy bread, and rotting berries. Medium sweet flavor with hearty, bready malts, some jammy berries, grapes. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes fairly sweet with continuing grainy bread, some earthy hops, leaves, ripe berries. Not bad.

Keg @ Piccadilly Tap, Manchester. Cloudy yellow with a small head. Has a lemon dominant character with a more pronounced taste than aroma, which has a dirtiness to it.

On tap at Bottle Shop London . Clear gold lasting white head. Biscuit on aroma. Some sour. Some herb. Not sure. Biscuit is good. Herb is challenging.
