On tap at Holborn Whippet. Clear gold lasting white head. Yes some noble hop which is good and refreshing in a UK lager. Light noble hop aroma. True noble hop flavour. Wow this is spectacular. Clean true faultless. Hoppy finish is lovely. Maybe a little too harsh but outstanding. I burped nettle hop. Super.

Keg at the rising sun berko. Hazed amber / orange coloured pour with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is juicy tropical passion fruit mango, pine. Flavour is light toast, biscuit Malta, juicy fruit, citrus, strawberry, toasted pine. Palate is medium bodied, chewy hop resin, highish carbonation. Solid IPA. Solid mostly clean bitterness.

Keg at Six Deg North. It pours hazy orange-amber with a decent white head. The nose is soft, doughy, hay, pretty spicy, candied citrus peel, peach and brioche. The taste is bitter-sweet, biscuit malt, straw, peppery spice, light metallic notes, apricot, peach and hay with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A rather nice take on the style. Works well for me.

Bottle. Tall Boys, Leeds. Poured into a nucleated Camden lager glass. Clear gold. A few floaters. Thick, bubbly, lasting, bright white head. Grassy, lightly spicy hop. Some flora. Grainy, lager malts. A bit biscuity. Taste has a sweet edge, to a crisp, punchy bitterness. Crisp, clean palate. Finishes hopped up, spicy bitter. Tasty beer. I like the rising hoppage at the end.

Bottle. Tall Boys, Leeds. As Cloudwater IPA Summer Range. Hazy, dark gold. Film, and a few bubbles of lasting, white head. Spicy, minty, tangerine hop. Butterscotch malts. A bit fusty and dank. Some citrus zestiness opens things up. Taste is rich, pithy, zesty bitter. Pretty full on. Some sticky sweet on the lips. Full body. A bit oily. Finishes long, oily bitter. Overall, it stinks a bit, and it’s as bitter as fook. Right up my street.

Bottle from Cornelius. Clear amber body with uneven yeast bits floating around. Huge off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of green tea, dirt and herbs. Flavour of sour malts, rust and bitter lemon. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. The first dud I’ve had from Cloudwater.

Flaske fra Holmens importkoffert, delt med Ovesen på omstikkingskveld juni-15: lett uklar gylden med flott skum. Nyydelig aroma, tropiske frukter, ferske granskudd og you name it. Smaken er i samme liga, og denne nytelsen er pakket inn i sølle 4,8%. Ingen skarpe kanter, bare ren nytelse. Intet mindre enn imponerende. Et fyrtårn å navigere etter. Humlene er Perle, Centennial, Citra og Mosaic. Malt: Best Ale, Clear Choice, Wheat malt, Caramalt og Light Munich. Gjær: US05.

Very hazy amber beer, big pale cream colour head, Palate is airy and fairly dry and a little crisp. Light creamy sweet malts. Floral lemon and bergamot. Modest biiterness. Trace of spice. Comes together well enough. Light finish. Very drinkable.

330ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Pours gold with a decent white head. Aroma is fresh grapefruit. Taste is vibrant grapefruit presented with absolute clarity. Sharp fruit / pine / pith with a fresh bitterness. Very enjoyable this & meets expectations as my first Cloudwater brew. Ones to watch.
