Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light pale malts, mildly sweet. Nice light floralness. Modest citric peel. Traces of lemon and tropical fruits. Mild bitterness. Light airy semi dry finish. A smooth and well integrated beer.

Bottle. Strong lemon, herbal hop notes, some yeast. Taste is dominating bitter lemon, leading to bitter wheat, some banana notes, and then a lemon and apricot finish. The bergamot lemon dominates the other flavours, and while refreshing lacks subtlety and depth. Edit: Drinking again on the second year, I found it more balanced, not sure if it was me or the beer that changed, but it was a refreshing change of pace mid session.

(Draught at The Rake, Borough, London, 25 Apr 2015) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of bread, citrus and hints of soap. Malty taste with white bread, citrus, lime and a touch of salt. Medium body, quite dry, with a gentle grassy bitterness. Interesting and quite refreshing. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy, orange gold. Sudsy, just off white head. Bready. Yeasty. Floral. Citrus hop. Lemon rind. Taste is floral, juicy sweet, quickly turning pretty full on, zesty, pithy bitter. Full body. Mouth filling bitterness. Finishes long, fruity, floral bitter. Super tasty. Maybe a bit too fizzy.
