Almost clear gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, fine minerally crispness. Clean pale malts, thin cream. Mild floral bitterness. Whisper of tangy citrus. A fairly dry finish. Although more difference than between the 2 Keyworth lagers, this one is also pretty close in character. Less sweet and more tangy than the Keyworths.

Bottle at home, 18/03/16. Clear golden with a well appointed off White covering. Nose is caramel, Werthers original notes, buttered popcorn, candy bar. Taste comprises caramel, airy malt, grain, grassy, toasted corn. . Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Super solid lager with a subtle happy edge.

Cask at the Euston tap. As cloud water pale. 4.1% pale yellow straw coloured pour with a dense lasting white head. Aroma is tangy citrus, damp hay, melon, maybe a bit of age, spicy cirrus hop. Flavour is composed of light grains, wheat and straw , melon, hints of peach, tangy apple and citrus. Palate is maybe a little tired with some signs of age, moderate carbonation. Slightly grainy. Decent.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy gold, white head. Definite yeasty fruity aroma, fresh citrus and hints of lime. Taste is fresh, fruity yet light and sessionable. Little bursts of hop fruit emerge and dissipate. Really quite a lovely colourful session bitter / IPA whatever. But really, Ian pretty much nailed it below.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk on the train home. Some earthy hop aroma. Wow big hop impact in the mouth. Yes you do get a good yeast aroma with some fruit. It’s a tropical fruit session bitter delight. You almost want to put a parasol in it. Wow that vic secret fruit is lovely just a burst of tropical fruits. Wow. I mean could I drink pints of this. Not sure. But it pinned me to the back of the seat and wouldn’t let me go. It’s kinda like being tied down by your partner and being slowly brought to a glowing orgasm. I rather liked it. Unsubtle but just so remarkable the aftertaste just goes on and on

Bottle at home, 17th March 16. Pours a cloudy deep amber with a good white head. Aroma is tropical fruit sweet marmalade, slight pine. Taste is full, tropical fruit, bitter citrus, pine resin, long bitter linger in the finish. Soft mouth feel, minimal carbonation. Delicious.

Bottle at home picked up from Beer Hawk. A big lively pour, dark orange / light amber coloured pour with a huge rocky light beige head. Mostly clear. Aroma is nice blend of bready grains, toasted grains, biscuit, slightly jammy berry, some melon and pine. Palate is very lively, abrasive carbonation, semi-sweet, slightly grainy. Flavour is composed of toasted bready grains, orange peel, hints of pine. Nicely layered hops. Assertive smooth citrus bitterness. Over carbonated but still very enjoyable..
