440ml can. Pours black with a small dark brown head, quickly thinning. Aroma of chocolate, coconut, vanilla. Taste is rich, dark chocolate, brown sugar, creamy vanilla, coconut, the adjuncts leaving a mild roasty bitterness. Full bodied, smooth, with a small amount of booze warmth. Excellent, very well balanced pastry stout.
"A subtle nod to both additions rather than a blast of adjunct flavour" - this is why this is so good I think, wish more brewers did pastry stouts like this instead of overloading it.

440ml can. Murky yellow, white head. Aroma of papaya, mandarin, peach, and some rather earthy notes. Taste pretty much the same, juicy papaya, peach, mandarin, leading to some peppery hop spice and a very very pithy finish, almost astringent which lets it down. Medium bodied, very smooth. Nice but not one of their best.
