Pours hazy dark amber with a thick white head. Aroma of bread and yeast hinted with hop elements. Taste has sweet malt elements, a subtle element of molasses with citrusy hops. Palate has bread and nutty nose hints that are hard to miss. Pretty interesting.

Pours hazy dark gold with a thick white head. Aroma of bananas with cinnamon and cloves. Taste has dry clove notes as well as nutmeg on the tongue. Palate has subtle banana nose notes as well as coriander, nutmeg and cloves on the back of the tongue.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Julio's Liquors. Appearance is clear dark brown (with ruby red with light source directly behind), decent sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width khaki head with poor retention and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, whiff of vanilla. Taste is roasted malt, mild anise, tart fruit, mild earthy bitterness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with somewhat watery texture, average-to-lively carbonation (a bit stinging on the tongue) that dominates the palate, and mostly sweet malt finish with late earthy bitter. Overall, taste is more interesting than the aroma and appearance is nice. Palate is dominated by too much carbonation. OK.

Thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Looks really good in the glass. Roasty malty aroma. Starts strong, malty, roasty, not too intense. Some woody-earthy notes. Finish milder, less roasty, soft-malty. Mild sweetness. Nice!
