Cloudy pale yellow with no head. Weak apple aroma (in a very cold sample, mind) Sweet red apple flavour that could use a bit of tartness for balance

Cloudy pale yellow with no head. Aroma of apple peel, with sulphur notes and a touch of pear. Dry and tart apple flavour with a touch of wood.

On tap. Hazy and opaque golden with no head. Sweetish aroma of apples and a vague whiff of rum. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, sweet apple accents and a discreet underlying tartness. And now the rum barrel really comes through - in a very pleasant way. The finish is dry rather than tart. Quite a lovely cider with the rum barrel adding a sophisticated edge. 141010

From tap at Lord Nelson. Pours cloudy yellow with a fully gone head. Aroma is fruity and raisin rum. Fruity rum flavoured. Sweet and lingering fruity. Ends medium sweet.

Draft. A hazy golden cider with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of apples and rhum. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of rhum and apples as well as a bit of wood and spices, leading to a dry and lightly tart finish.

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Hazy very pale yellow colour. Sourish appley nose, not bad, genuine. Sourish appley taste, kinda corky, wild tasting, bit acidity burn but with sweet pleasant notes, Papsoe said pineapple and I concur. No elderflower notes, which is odd but hey, drinking this I don’t exactly miss them. This is a good, drinkable cider, and I’m glad to have tried it!

On tap. Pours a cloudy very pale yellow with no head whatsoever. Tart’n’sweet apple aroma. Medium body with only a discreet carbonation and again sweet/tart apple notes. The finish has a light tartness. Very quaffable. 050810

Cloudy yellow with a tiny white short lasting head. Aroma had apples, phenol and it came out dry. Flavour was sweet with apples, phenol and with a slightly dryer finish.
