Draught@brew pub. Clear amber-ruby color, not much head. Sticky grassy aroma. Sweetish malty, some fruityness, but not like in "real" altbier. Quite plain but drinkable.

Draught@brew pub. Light amber brown, small white head. Very fruity, cider-like aroma, some hops thrown in. Good hoppy with decently long lemony aftertaste. Nice session ale.

Bottle Jan 05, picked up in a local supermarket wasn’t really that fussed about this much at all, smooth with some bitterness, citrusy but otherwise not great.

Sickly hazy amber ale with a good creamy white head. Initial skunkyness gives way to a chalky malt, a bit oxidized. In mouth, sweet malt with butterscotch overtones, lightly hoped, not as pleasant as their 80 p. Overall, sub par. Bottle bought in Halifax, March 2005.

Clear red, slightly hazy. The nose is full of sulphur and acidic raspberry aroma. The raspberry flavour is dry, fresh and well balanced and does wonders to the sulphuric wheat beer used as base. The finish is disappointingly sweet and one dimensional.

Viscous and cloudy orange brown with beige creamy head. Sweet strawberry jam aroma. Initial attack of fruit flavour, then just water and citric acid. Sweet finish.

Dark ruby. Grapefruit aroma. Malty and sweetish with an immediate punch of American hops. Loads of chocoalte flavour and really bitter finish. Much firmer than the Red Alt Beer, and by far my favourite offering from this brewpub.

Pale yellow, hazy. Yeasty, sulphuric aroma. Light bodied and sweet. Bitterish sulphuric finish. Like chewing on the back end of a pencil.
