Description
In 2014, Sam Richardson, Matt Monahan and Andrew Burman founded Other Half Brewing Company, a local brewery in New York City with a simple mission: to create beers that they wanted to drink from a company that they wanted to be a part of. Their vision was to build a passionate team that brewed great beers in the state of New York—done so with effort and thoughtfulness—to represent the “Other Half” of the industry. Today, Other Half craft beers in their Brooklyn brewery and are dedicated to collaborating with breweries both in New York as well as across the world in an effort to constantly move the industry forward while elevating the craft. The Other Half team believes that local breweries play an important role in their communities which is why they partner with these other likeminded brewers and brands in local nabes across the country and the world—but always return to their home state of New York and their Brooklyn taproom.
PLEASE NOTE: As of 2023, Other Half no longer markets beers as "Double Dry Hopped". Instead, the DDH version is now listed as just the beer name, and the non-DDH version has been retired.
When entering a beer, please enter "Hop Showers" instead of "DDH Hop Showers" or "Hop Showers - DDH".

Can from Beer Republic. Cloudy yellow, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of fresh peach, papaya & grape, mandarin rind, dough, sherbet. Taste has sweetish peach, papaya & mango with a touch of lychee; softly dank onion in a doughy malt body and some bitter citrus rind. Floral hops in the finish, lingering juicy tropical fruits, a tad peppery-oniony. Medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Very bright and tropical with a solid amount of dank.

Canned 5/12/26, drunk 7/9/26.
Melon and apple with gentle white grape and dainty, honey-like malts. Zesty acidity shows light tropical fruit. Pretty interesting mix of hops here and it works better than expected, with Mosaic not causing everything to go to herbal hell. Nice and rich/dank/expressive.
Juicy with guava, white wine and a background herbaceousness that tends lightly blueberry skin-like. Rich malts and good attenuation with honey and cracker-like notes easily balancing. Love the zesty tropical fruit and deep white grape. Peppery Mosaic lingers on nicely, as well.
