Surprisingly tasty being out of a can, has a clear hop base and fruitiness to its taste.

Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light hoppy, citrus, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. [Keg at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Castleton] Light orange-amber with a moderate white head. Light, refreshing mouthfeel. Flavour is fruity with sweet orange and lemon citrus. Eventually the metallic bitterness of a pasteurised keg beer does surface, but this is not actually too bad for a macro keg bitter, and I would choose it over John Smiths any day. c5

My local grocery has an interesting new selection of bottled bitters and while I know I’m not in for the best at least it’s something better than Asahi, right? Light copper with a tall, rocky, white head. Malty, fruits, and light yeast make up the aroma. Where is the flavor? Very light malts, and a touch of bitter fruit. Refreshing mouth, though. Very light bitterness. Meh, not terrible, but far from tasty.

Light yellow colour, with a sharp hop nose, and a sweet citrusy hoppy bitter flavour.

440ml can. Pours a golden colour with a small white head; caramel aroma; thin and malty body with lots of carbonation; and a bitter finish.

Reddish clear amber ale with a thick frothy white head. Lightly fruity malt aroma with no hint of british hops at all. Dryish in mouth, with a rather tin can astringence. Medium bodied. However, this aint a bitter, in a blind tasting, I would have guessed a lager. A bitter for lager drinkers then. Can bought in Halifax at Vinart.

(Sampled draught at The Jacksons, Sunderland). Golden colour, good head. Smooth. An easy quaffing bitter, not much character - but let's admit it: I'm a sucker for beers like this when quantity is the matter of the day.
