19 months past bb. From H&G Liquor, which has all the same expired beer the former Chapel St occupant had. Must be the neighborhood. Bought eyes open. Bottle. Brown with a few bubble at the rim. Aroma of cherries, damp earth, brown bread, cognac. Mellow with gentle but persistent underlying sourness. Slightly woody at the end. Bracken, vinous notes. Good, would get again.

Bottle, bb 2021. Unclear amber, no head. Woody vinous aroma with white grapes, some boot polish, quince, under-ripe apricot. Almost flat. Stone fruit is a little riper and the taste is barely sour with lots of wood (twigs as well as oak) and modest funk. Dryish end still shows hints of bitterness. Interesting, still pretty bright tasting.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep amber, with almost zero foam. Aroma is fruity, oxidated. Body is slightly thin, with very limited carbonation. Some astringency. Taste is medium sour, a little sweet, with a long and England, elegant final.
