Draft: Poured a murky yellow orange with a white head that became whispery. Aroma is banana, cloves, wheat. Taste is the same, loads of banana and cloves, wheat.

21/10/2024. Draft at Craft Beer Market Otemachi. Region #469. Japanese Prefecture 40/47. Pours clear deep amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is piney, dank, hoppy, tropical, raisins, caramel, resin. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Bit old school. Well done.

330ml bottle pours out dark brown almost black topped with tan head. Nose is nice roast some grain malts and a little ash. Taste is more of the nice roast malts some ash and burnt toast.

Bottle from Yamaoka. Medium golden. Light fruity hop nose, relatively thin malt. Lemony flavor of citrus hops, clean, sweet, light malt. Relatively simple.

On tap at Popeye, pours a cloudy bright golden with a small white head. Nose is full of clove and banana, with some light bubblegum esters. Flavour is estery, with bubblegum, banana, and light clove. Estery finish, more or less in keeping with the style. Okay.

Tap at Taptime. Nice. Decent balance between honey sweetness and bit of bitterness. Easy drinking. Manages to have a touch of spiky bitterness. Surprising!
