Bottle, courtesy of faroeviking. A clear, dark brown beer with a beige head. Roasted nose, coffee-like. Dry on the palae with caramel and roasted malts. Dry, roasted finish. An easy drinkable beer, but really boring, I wouldn’t last a night on only this. 090822

cloudy yellow, white head. aroma is peachy, wheat. flavor is citrussy, wheat. sort of like a witbeer.

Black with a lasting off-white head. Weak aroma of chocolate an malt. Sweet chocolate flavour with a little ash in the roasted finish

Bottled. A brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, sweet malt, and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and some chocolate, leading to a dry bitter, and roasted finish. The body is thin.

Bottle. Mild chocolate aroma. Black colour. Seems hazy. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted but quite dry. Not bad.

Dark chocolate and dark fruit dominate. Med-body with good depth, but not great balance. Finish with some dark fruit and minor bitterness. Enjoyable, but not outstanding by any stretch.

In a bottle. Copper colored with a medium, very fine head. Spicy, ginger-like aroma, Belgian-like yeast, some caramel and fruit. Slightly burnt, very spicy flavor. Yeast, amber malt, more than a bit like an Orval! Interesting. Dry, fruity, spicy. It is like an Orval copy, but a touch sweeter. (I wonder if they were trying?)
