22oz @Tampa Weekly Gathering-that I brought-pours a retaining tan head and amber color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel, herbal. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, spice/herbal hops bite.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is a bit unusual. Sorting it into floral and citrus over very light caramel. Flavor is earthy, floral,citrus - mildly bready. It’s very good, but a bit off the English path, I think. On the other hand there are thousand of English ales I’ve never tried, so who knows?

Bomber from Half Time. These guys are good at specials and seasonals. Pours a dark ruddy amber brown with a good creamy beige head. The aroma is heavy hop. Not the harsh cat pee type. More floral and fruit. Med + body. Til the carb leaves. The flavor is heavy malt more than balanced by a lot of earthy, floral, maybe herbal, hop. I’m not getting a trace of heat, which is somewhat amazing. Just excellent ale.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours amber gold with a creamy off-white head. Aromas of floral hop over mild roast malt. The flavor is intense and mild at the same time. Strong floral, but not very bitter; strong caramel but not very sweet. Somewhat spicy. I’m fairly certain the style is nailed here. Unless the flavor is too intense for our brethern over the pond. Oh to be in England.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours amber with a small creamy/fizzy beige head. Aroma of warm toasted malt, with some brown sugar and possibly citrus hop. Flavor is lightly sweet caramel, with some development into brown sugar, and enough arguably citrus hop to hold down the sugar. It is lush in the mouth. Wish I knew the bottling date.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours dark ruddy amber with a 3 finger foamy beige head. Aroma of roast caramel. Flavor is floral/fruit with caramel and then some arguably citrus rind bitter. It’s not NW bitter, but the hops are all over the malt. It’s a pretty good drink.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours orange amber with a foamy 2 finger off-white head. Pine and floral aromas. Almost tutti frutti. Med body. Flavor is quite fruity. There’s some resin and light nutty roast caramel. Also perhaps a touch of diacetyl, but this is complicated, so I’m not sure. Finishes rather floral bitter. A bit different from most.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours lightly ruddy copper with a foamy beige head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Flavor is sweetish, fruit, and possibly some not very bitter hop. But the components work really well, and the result is more tasty than most ambers. I can image this turning into Gale’s Prize Old Ale after many years. Probably not gonna happen.

Bottle. Pours black with a light brown heads that dissipates completely. Aroma is full of roasted malts and has some coffee notes with a hint of smoke as well. Flavor begins with roasted malts and is joined with coffee and bitter chocolate as well as a good amount of smoke.

Hazy amber color; medium sized head, compact. The aroma is still very nice, fruity; then comes a strong, mellow aroma of brewing cereals; unexpected, but pleasant. Good body strength, caramel flavor, lightly soapy; strong bitterness, still some hop resins, but no fruits. Strong and long final. Solid brew.
Unfortunately, another bottle that I maybe spoiled, keeping it too long (since Oct ’09 till July ’10), waiting to share it...
