Un subtil caramel alimente des notes de poire d'épices et d'alcool.
De couleur dorée et très trouble, le liquide développe un col mousseux épais et extrêmement dense.
La poire et une légère acidité dominent l'entrée de bouche, s'accompagnant d'une certaine chaleur d'alcool.
Les malts sont miellés plutôt que caramélisés.
Les levures assurent un environnement légèrement acidulé à l'ensemble.
Des houblons plutôt épicés provoquent une finale dépourvue d'amertume et éminemment sèche.
Le corps est bien ample et la texture assez soyeuse.
Bien que complètement hors style, ce Barley Wine demeure plutôt original.

Dorée et légèrement voilée assortie d'une belle mousse petite mais dense.
Légèrement acidulée en bouche.
Levures sauvages assez douces.
Les houblons nous amènent des notes de poire.
Les levures sauvages sont tr`s bien dosées avec le houblonnage.
Très rafraichissante.
Levure et houblonnage font la force de cette bière.

Café, épices issues de la levure.
Veloutée en bouche.
Équilibrée.
Une des meilleures saisons noires dégustée à date avec la Isseki Niko de Dieu du Ciel.

Bottle: Poured an orangey color ale with a large slightly oiff-white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of rustic grain with some dry yeasty notes and light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of rustic grain with light peppery notes, some dry yeasty flavours and a semi-sweet finale. Body is full for style with godo carbonation. Truly interesting is the flavours profile of the yeast strain.

On tap at the source. Bright lemon, and cereal aroma. Light spice, soft wheat, straw. Bright mouthfeel, lively carb. Medium bitter. Crisp, and refreshing.

On tap at the source. Pours a hazy yellow, with a large white head. Aroma is unsurprisingly citrus, grapefruit, lemon, orange, with some nice melon notes. Solid mouth feel, good carb, and a medium to high bitterness. Finish is pithy, more citrus, some cantaloupe, and honey dew round it out.

Tap at the source. Clear yellow pour, with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, soft cereals, a touch floral. Nice clean malts, crisp mouth feel. Refreshing, and well done. It is what it is.
