Medium with a bit of haze. Sort of phenolic - sort of a harsh, cheap bourbon character. Not even bourbon. Just random American whisky. Sweet, with a lot of bourbon, and a limited toffee malt note. It's ok. But this isn't really that powerful - the base beer is light, and the treatment isn't really doing a whole lot to make it better.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon barrels, some wood, and medium roast. Flavour is very light and half-hearted, with light roast, a touch of barrel, and some vanilla. Very light-bodied and lacking substance. Not so impressive.

Recommend by the guy at Propeller Brewery. Sweet malts, that floral thing that comes with rye, some mild, mild resin, pine with also some mild bitterness. Meh.

Little sweetness to the malt, the hops go with bitterness and pine. It's only ok.

Can from the brewery. Very straight forward and quaffable fruit beer. Cloudy, orange-blonde with minimal head. Nose all about peaches and apricots, taste heavy, heavy on the peach and apricot, light malt, mildly sweet. If you're in the mood for fruity, this will do it for you. If not, stay well away.

Has a very nice foam on top of a dark black body. Aroma of sharp roasted barley and I can tell already it is a little watery. Flavour is sharp and sour barley, nice in fact, good balance there but just barely. And yes, it needs more fullness on the mouth. Serviceable again but no home run to be found.
