Can. Fairly dark brown with a modest beige head. Aroma of chocolate and roast with some brioche. Sweet and smooth but there's enough roast and somewhat peppery bitterness to stop it seeming too sweet. Nice vanilla. Just a little more dessert-like than (say) Young's.

Can, bb 12/25. Cloudy orange, fading white head. Aroma of under-ripe tropical fruit, gooseberries, grapefruit, pine, hayish crackers. Fruity with resin building towards the end. The hazy vagueness cunningly compensates for a lack of malt presence. Fairly bitter but briskly brief finish works well. Good, very clever.

Aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, sweet biscuit and caramel. It's got a tangy mouthfeel with a very sharp lemon citrus taste with that pineapple, and a little apple as well. Not a classic NEIPA but I kept coming back for more.

A "West Coast Juicy IPA" apparently. Can, bb 6/25. Fairly cloudy with a very loose white head. Aroma of melon, mandarin, crackers. Slightly chalky texture with citrus rind, tropical fruit and fair bit of bitterness. Refreshing on a hot night but not very engaging.

Can from rep. Into an IPA glass at just on chilled. Another hazy by looks and aroma. Was hoping for a West Coast! Turbid, milky caramel body. Headless and still. Weedy, stale hops and straw on the nose melded with drabby, fell fruit like passionfruit, pineapple and peach. Drabby pineapple juice dominated palate. Not pleasant. Thin; lifeless in feel. No hop definition, no hop bitterness and very little in the finish to satiate. Just dull. Even the 8.5%ABV doesn't show. Milky, yeasty with a touch of morning juice to save it. What is happening over at Rocky Ridge? This was just a dull filler. Pina colada, yes. IIPA, no!!!! Tragic. (50cL can, BB 04/08/2025)

Can. Almost clear gold with a fluffy white head. 3+ Aroma of honeydew melon, lychees, grapefruit, pine, very light bread. Upon a taste perhaps the citrus is as much mandarin or maybe ruby grapefruit. The sweet fruit is nicely offset by resin and bitterness. Alcohol is a bit dangerously well hidden. Very nice.

Can. Gold, two cm white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lime cordial, cracker bread. So it tastes - sweetish with lime cordial, some dried herbs, pine needles. Nice late bitterness. Pretty solid drop.

Can at my bro’s. Cheers Jon. Pours mildly hazed mid gold with white foam. Aroma: citrus, grapefruit, pine. Light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Clean taste and dry on the palate. Medium body with soft carbonation. Tidy WCIPA

Draft at Orh Gao, Singapore. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a big, lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy and big tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, rich, tart juicy orange mango, light floral, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tasty and refreshing. Perfect for the Singapore climate!
