Tap at Bungalow. Pale gold, oily. Malty crackers, ripe tropical fruit, citrus and light piss in the nose. Slightly sweet, lemony, a bit pissy and tropical. Very bitter.

Tap at Bungalow. Hazy bright gold with a thick head. Kind of minty, lemony nose. flavor os tea, mint, cabbage, kind of like tooth paste. WTF? Seemed slightly infected bit according to the brewer it was just a weird batch of Apollo hops! Wow, these hops suck. Looking forward to trying a different batch, as the rest was decent.

Tap @ Beer Boy, Nakameguro. Light golden and crystal clear. Some thick bubbles on top, not a thick head but stays for a while. Light dry but sweetish nose there, fruity and fragrant. Tastes dry, light hops and light body, kind of a brut version of the IPA although its not really specified here. Clean and drinkable, just not too much character there.

Tap at Bungalow. Pale gold with a touch of haze and a fine, low head. Fruity, lemony nose, apple, peach, noble hops herbalness. Sweet, bread and crackers, peppery finish. Very bitter finish. Authentic and enjoyable stuff.

Hop Kotan Alpha Holic Double IPA 92 IBUs 7.6% Slightly opaque gold with 1cm of dense creamy foam. Bright juicy citrus with mild pine notes throughout. Full bodied and the finish is semi-dry. It starts with a sweet hit then goes bitter piney while the aftertaste is spicy-sweet. Really good and interesting, I think this would pair well with Japanese traditional desserts.

Tap at Bungalow. Nice orange, lemon, light tropical fruit hops in the nose, mango, a touch of pineapple, with rich, wheaty malt. Hazy flowing pale gold with a pretty head. Rich malt flavor, bready, crackery, nice hops, a bit acidic citrus. Pretty fresh and tasty. Smooth and full. Solid stuff.

Tap at Bungalow. Dark brown to black, low lacy head. Nose is chocolate, umami, a bit of soy and light roastiness. Flavor is chocolate, cola, caramel, rich bready malt, light roasty. Tasty stuff. body is medium and smooth with low carbonation that works really well. Very enjoyable schwarz.

dark brown color. Light brown head. Nice light roasted malt and chocolate nose. Excellent chocolate, treacles, roasted malt and licorice character. Light body, medium bitterness, sweet-ish malt undertones. Great depth. Super drinkable. Fantastic example of the style and tops for japan. Almost want to give this 3.8

Tap at B&G. Malty, bready nose, wheat? Hazy gold, with a high, airy head. Bready, dry flavor, hoppy, a bit heavy bit nicely dry. Slightly dirty finish. Nice start. Not as exact as their other ales and lagers, but at least this isn't sweet and yeasty like most of the saisons in the world. Hope they keep working on this, maybe up the abv.

Tap at Komachi. Deep gold with the slightest of hazy and a fine, low head. Nose is tropical fruit, more passion and guava than mango, grapefruit, oranges. Rich, fruity, malty flavor, passion fruit and grapefruit, orange, semi-ripe mango, guava. Bright yet full and the carbonation is just right. Prickly, peppery, bitter finish. Good stuff, not as straight-out dry as most of their others.
