Teku showing dark amber with a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense clean lager malts.
The palate is well carbonated and light to medium bodied. Clean flavors of lager malt and a light-moderate bitterness on the end. Nothing special

Can from the Okinawa satellite shop in Tenroku, Osaka. Bready nose with a floury note and lemony noble hops. Clear golden, low, fine head, somewhat effervescent. Bready, biscuity malt flavor, lemon, herbal hops. Slightly bitter, dryish finish. It does taste like a kolsch. Light and crisp, not a whole lot going on, but nice enough balance and decent amount of hops. Not special, but drinkable.

Buttered corn and floral hops, but in a good way? Crisp and a touch doughy, but a good enough pint at the sushi restaurant.

350ml can into glass. From Liquorland, Yamba. Slightly cloudy golden amber beer with a thin white head. Grainy fruity nose, some toffee. Smooth mouthfeel, no carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Nice beer but too sweet for a Pilsner I think.

Can from Lawsons. Toasty nose, light caramel, orange, lemon, apple. Slightly nutty. Medium amber color with a tall, airy head. NUtty, toasty amber malt flavor, light body, earthy, bitter hops in the finish. Taste really is verging on craft, though more like a classic Wiener or Marzen. Not great, but I would buy it again for a river beer.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Tian Tian Market Canary Wharf. Pours clear, pale gold with a creamy white topping. Effervescent. Lightly sweet, some tasty pale grains, light cereal, straw, mellow biscuity notes. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Sweet finish, white bread, more hay, crispy cereal. Easygoing cheap lager.
