From a 330ml bottle on 1/11/2017. Pours a dark brown with a small head. Has a reasonably strong coffee nose. The flavour is primarily coffee, a little chocolate and a good dash of roasted malt, giving it a moderate bitterness. Light bodied and slightly over carbed. Just okay.

Tap (Cherry Tree Hotel, Melbourne). Completely hazy, yellow colour. Delicate white-greyish head, good lacing. Fresh, fruity, hoppy on the nose. Fruity with medium, resin bitterness, a little bit astringent at the end. Medium body, dry, smooth with delicate sweetness in aftertaste. Good IPA but could be more juicy than hoppy and bitter.

Tap (Slowbeer, Melbourne). Delicate hazy, golden colour. Small, white head, no lacing. It is good sample od saison, a little bit spicy, quite light in feeling, it has everything what saison should have.

From a 330ml can on 1/10/2017. Pours a deep red amber with a smallish head. The features cirus hops and a bit of caramel. The flavour features caramel and biscuit malt, some stone and dried fruit, which is met by quite a fierce, resiny, dry bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Definitely not boring, but could use a bit more sweetness to balance the hops.

It's got loads of coffee in it, and I love it. There's also a really nice undercurrent of berries, plus biscuit and honeycomb. Perhaps the only criticism is a slightly watery palate.

Pours hazy yellow, large fading head.Nose shows Saison notes, heavy herbal notes, banana, doughy wheat-like characters, coriander. A wierd mix.Flavours include more banana, herbal notes, mineral characters, earthy hops, and a herbal astringency in the very dry finish.Carbonation seems a little over the top.

Bottle. Clear yellow gold with a white head. 3+ Aroma of elderflowers, wheaty funk, oranges, white pepper. Light bodied, high carbonation. Sweet and sunny with moderate funky notes and pretty low bitterness. Lots of elderflower but it's not overdone in the dry finish. Pretty solid beer.

Tap at the Rainbow Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a dry, fresh, light tart crisp lemon citrus palate and a light sweet citrus finish. Fresh and fruity. Awesome.

Bottle. Darkish brown with a dense, stable light tan head. Aroma of sweetened cold brew coffee, some earth, bread. Lightish bodied - although not for 5% I guess - nicely low carbonation. Not as sweet as expected and although initially you think it’s totally coffee-dominated, a little roasted malt, chocolate brioche and grassy bitterness do enough to remind you it’s beer.
