Many thanks to Peter for this bottle. Smooth grainy beginning. Easy to drink with a grainy fruity and slightly bitter aftertaste.

12 fl.oz bottle. A clear yellow golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of grassy bitter hopy, wet hay, citrus. Taste of citrus hops, hay, pale malt, straw, mild fresh bitterness.

Pours deep brown with a very thick creme head that dissolves into the beer. Wet chestnut aroma. Taste is rich and nutty with deep chocolate elements. Palate has earthy malt notes. Good, really flavorful compared to other porters.

Bottle from the brewery that I probably kept linger than I should have: pours amber with whitish head. Aroma is slightly oxidized hops, caramel maltiness. Taste is sweet maltiness, some hoppy bite that has been attenuated. Can't say that I particularly enjoyed. However, I suspect this was mostly my fault.

Bottle at share. Pours orange. Caramel, cardboard, toffee, bit of citrus fruit, something peachy. Medium body. Ok.

Pours a cloudy yellowish color with a foamy white head. Aroma of wheat. Tastes like an IPA on the tongue but with a very gentle spruce taste. Palate includes citrus, bread and pilsener influences. Great combination, really well put together and drinkable.
