We are a brewery in Tunbridge, Vt. We focus on hop forward, stout, and farmhouse ales. We brew on a 5 bbl system and do big contracted batches at Von Trapp.
We operate a small brewery in the hills of Tunbridge, Vermont with a tasting room in South Royalton. The Tasting Room for Upper Pass Beer Company is located on the green inside First Branch Coffee Shop.
Closed the South Royalton taproom during the Covid-19 Pandemic. After Simple Roots' closure at the end of 2025, moved in to their space and are aiming to re-open the taproom there by February, as well as purchasing an adjacent building to expand operations.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: looks like peach puree' coloring with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated at a good pace but didn't leave much lace
Aroma: sweet and tart peach up front with an ever so slight touch of lactose
Flavor: mostly just the sweet and tart notes of the peach; finishes mostly the same with an ever so slight touch of peach
Texture: medium bodied; slightly sessionable; great amount of smoothness with nothing really distracting anywhere; good carb level
Overall: pretty nicely done peach sour which might not have much other frills to it I'm fine with as this was well brewed.

Appearance: dark purple color with a finger's worth of pink to off-white foamy head which seemed to dissipate semi-quick to a moderate sort of pace; super light lace was left
Aroma: sweet to tart blueberry to sweet to tart cherry character which ends up meshing nicely to smell somewhat like jam
Flavor: copies the aromas to a tart to sweet quality; super light jam-like note in there; finishes about the same
Texture: medium bodied; slight sessionability to this; light smoothness with a nick or two of the tartness to the tongue - nothing to get worked up about - it's just there
Overall: pretty nicely done fruited tart/sour ale I would have again.

Not to be confused with the "Oasis - Blueberry and Meyer Lemons" beer as that has a different recipe and ABV from this beer.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark purple color with a quickly dissipating foamy head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: strong sweet and tart blueberry jammy-like notes up front with a smoother and somewhat sweet lemony tone
Flavor: combines the blueberries and lemons together in a sweet to tart to sour sort of way; finishes with a kick of sour to tart blueberry and lemon character
Texture: light to medium bodied; slightly sessionable; light smoothness along the tongue with a brisk tart acidic tone to the tongue - nothing offensive - just noticeable
Overall: nice blueberry jam sour ale with some lemon in there for a slight boost to the balance.

Aroma: sweet and tart notes of the blueberries along with the sweet and tart notes of the lemon with a light lemon rind-like bitterness in there too; slight pop of the yeast slightly coming out
Flavor: mostly just the sweet and tart notes of the blueberry and lemon character and the yeastiness seems to slide back in subtly; finishes tart and sweet blueberry and lemony
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to medium bodied - slight sessionability; light smoothness and a little bit of a sassy tart note trying to reverberate along the tongue
Overall: for the most part, a pretty good fruited tart/sour ale I could come back to.

Aroma: crushed clove, lemony with some floral tones and a clean malty backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-spicy quality; finishes clean and dry with a floral hop tone
Texture: light to medium bodied - perhaps closer to light; very sessionable; very smooth along the tongue - with not much distracting; good carb level
Overall: I wouldn't mind coming back to this with some lobster tails or grilled swordfish.

Appearance: clear yellow color with a three and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: crisp floral to earthy to slightly grassy hop spicy hop notes with a clean malty underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to undercut spicy note; finishes slightly earthy and grassy hop spiced
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; great smoothness but also a little bit of the hop notes nicking the tongue slightly - mostly non-offensive

Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes semi-dry with some floral & citrusy hop tones
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness; some hop bitterness, good carb level
Overall: I see this as an IPA that isn't a bad beer and maybe I could come back to.

Aroma: soft bread crust with slight mineral tones and light earthy to floral hop tones
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine malty bready sweet quality; finishes bready and earthy sweet
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; great smoothness along the tongue with nothing distracting anywhere; good carb level
Overall: I say a very nicely done Märzen well worthy of returning to.
