500mL bottle, pours a hazy bright dark rose red with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with wild critters, plenty of funk, grape pomace, and wine barrels. Flavour is buggy and vinous, with a pretty in-your-face grape pomace character, tons of brett funk, and some more oaky, vinous, tannic notes. Vibrant, fairly complex, and well-rounded. Maybe not the most refined wild grape ale, but very nicely done. Good one, Main Street. This is apparently what they can accomplish if they try.

On tap at Main Street, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a very nice gentle smoke character, soft wheaty notes, and soft biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp, with smoky wheatiness dominating. The palate is slightly aggressively carbonated, with zero residual sugars. Pleasant but a bit dull and muted for the style.

6.2
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

On cask at Main Street, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairly neutral, with soft bready malt, maybe a touch of bittering hops. Flavour has some gently bitter hops, with a soft biscuity malt base. Clean and easy, with some more hops than is typical for an English cask ale, but still not very interesting.

On cask at Main Street, pours a clear amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is soft, with bready malt, not much hops or anything else. Flavour is clean, with light bready malt and almost no bitterness. Tastes like nothing, just like an English bitter. True to style, which isn't interesting.

On cask at Main Street, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty laid back, with subtle piney hops, English malt and some straw. Flavour is very neutral, with barely a trace of hops, soft bready malt and straw. Nothing wrong with it but little character.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with small white head. Nice smoked malt character, hint of iodine, a little light, but considering the ABV, solid
