Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Blond color, clean, with compact head. Dry, lean, with malt flavor, some hay, and some grassy hops; the bitterness is above the average; the aroma is too simple.
Not too bad.

This pils poured a light yellow colour with a big, white, frothy head. Scents include corn, a little honey and bread. First sip was smooth with a nice medium body and perfect carbonation. Flavours of corn and hops with a medium bitter finish.

This IPA poured a golden amber colour with a roacky, bright white head. Scents include citrus hops, sweet malts and a little alcohol? Frist taste was smooth with nice citrus hop flavor. Light cereal flavor with a medium bitter finish.

This is not really a pleasant beer. Kind of a mess. Finishes kind of acrid. Pours golden without much head or lacing. Not even sure if this is saaz or munich here. There’s better pilseners than this in Toronto. Tap at C’est What.

Pours light orange with some head and lacing. Nice rye malt here, always enjoy it. Hops adds some citrus, this is fresh and well done. Tap at Loose Moose.

Bottle, kindly donated by Netty, many thanks. Golden color with medium white head. Aromatic hops in aroma with grapefruit, tangerines, grapefruit zest, pines, tropical fruits. Taste, starts with malt, very shortly followed by citrus and piney hops. Long hoppy bitter finish. Good.

Can: Poured a clear bright yellow color pilsner with a medium pure white foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet mal notes with very timid hops presence. Taste is also dominated by lightly sweet notes with also unnoticeable hops presence. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but nothing really standing out that would make me want to go back and try this beer again.

Second brew from this brewery (after their IPA). Single can from the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with a frothy white head, good retention and dirty lacing. Smells like a Euro pils at first with hops, but then after breathing, seems like corn comes out making this one have a Canadian macro lager nose. When twirled, hints of cereal grains and alcohol appear. Again, this is the hop I do not like in my beers. Has a rusty taste to it. Thankfully, notes of grass saves this, from time-to-time. So, has many characteristics of a Euro Pils, but hard to justify buying more, as the Euro imports are less expensive here, and even a few are a little better.

Can imported, had in sun in gardens, 27th May 2013. Not bad, not enough hops to keep me interested, above average though
