Well, let me tell you, this stuff hides the alky content well. Very light yellow color. Sparkling attitude in the glass. Not much aroma, just clean and attractive. Very little co2 on the tongue. Creamy head. A little sweet and almost cloying but never quite gets there. Interstingly complex.

I love the way local brewers are making it big. Had this at the bocktown monaca; nice place and nice beer tasting atmosphere. This is my first dry log considering there is on ly two listed so far and it did make an impression on this ratebeerians. Looks like darker iced tea. Nice mellow aroma with a little alky punching thru. It says belgian, so I’m thinking this could not be by default, no? A little unrefined. Yes, from the start it is a little strong. Does have some beldgy attitude but for the most part its less civilized than the stuff from the old world. Is orval in this ssame category? Sweet attitude on the finish. Very little co2 but its there. Not too sure what to think of this wnaah be. We should call this in a new sttyleas an americanized belgian ale. Then it would get in the top 10.
