Track 8. A pale blonde wit with a thin white head. In aroma, light sweet fruity malt with light banana and cloves, light herbal hops, so-so. In mouth, a light watery wit with faint bananas, light cloves, faint Brett notes, light bodied. On tap at Aces and Ales Nellis.

GABF 2014. I liked this beer. Dry yeast and spices in the aroma. dry grass and fresh garden scents. Enough hops that you know they are there.

Sampled at GABF 2014. Labeled as "Bamberg Rauchbier." Color and palate are right. Smoke is there but it is far too light; not really comparable to something from Schlenkerla or Spezial but a decent smoke beer in its own right.

GABF 2014. Another sour beer, after the plum lambic I just tasted. I pick up some red wine and a little vinegar; acidic, and some fruit flavor. I am wondering if this has plums also.

I had a few samples of this at GABF 2014. Yeast aroma with some fruit, but an aroma that must have lacto in it; and you know it is going to be sour. Sour flavor with prominent yeast and some fruit flavor, and a sour finish. Not very sour as far as lambic goes, but this is a sour beer and a good effort for an American brewery.
