Gusher. After looking at the label of the qualities of this beer I was trying to imagine how they would go together. They don't. It's just drinkable. One and done.

Thanks Brad and Angela! The aromas are dark malt, resin and roast. Flavors are like nose, with good balance between sweet, carbonation and bitter and all the other qualities work well together. Easy drinking.

A gift from Brad and Angela, thanks guys! The aromas are cherries, leather and a hint of bourbon barrel. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, sweet tart upfront with some bitter in the finish. The qualities don't work all that well together but it's still not bad.

A gift from Brad and Angela, thanks guys! I had a number of pilsners when I was in New Zealand but didn't know that it was actually a style. Anyway, this one is pretty good. Both aromas and flavors have a grassy, slightly floral and spicy quality. Bittersweet, refreshing yet satisfying.

A gift from Brad and Angela, thanks guys! The aromas are dark malt, roast, black patent and a little fruit maybe a hint of peanut butter. Flavors are way better than nose, those all the qualities come through and are balanced and easy drinking. Pretty tasty stuff really.

A gift from Brad and Angela, thanks guys! The aromas are malt heavy, a little molasses, don't really pick up the peat or the heather. Flavors are similar to nose, mildly sweet, with just enough bitter and carbonation to balance.

Thanks for the treat Brad and Angela! The aromas are dry grass, fresh citrus hops with a little bit of resin and minerals. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, on the sweet side up front turning bittersweet. Add in some tropical fruit. Good body and carbonation. A bit too sweet for me though.

16 oz can from HyVee, Ankeny. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a stream of bubbles feeding a thick bubbly head. Light sweetness and malt in the nose, a touch of wheat malt spice. Taste is complex, as one might expect from a multi-grain brew. Tastes nice cold. A bit of light hop gives this a peppery note. A balanced, almost lawnmower beer, but its malt bill makes it stand out just a bit further.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light earthy pine and crisp grass with a bit of sweet grain supporting. Flavor has a nice grassy pine with a bit of bread and sweet grain backing.
