Tap @ Kaapse Fest, small sample. Almost clear golden color, short frothy head. Aroma has some citrussy hops, bit pine, slight grainy malt. Bit dry and bitter in taste. Body is a bit thin for an imperial IPA, bitterness a bit on the harsh side. Decent beer.

Bottle from Bierwinkel Zeist, large sample. Earlier rating seems to be spot on. No additions or changes. Tap @ Kaapse Fest, small sample. Dark brown color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of roast, licorice, coffee. Slight bitter from malts, slight spicy licorice, oatmeal cookie. Bit too much on the licorice and roast for me. Like it to be more creamy and chocolatey. Decent RIS though.
