Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Hazy brown, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of peat, old wood, tobacco, date, iodine, caramel, liqueur, peated whisky, rum-soaked raisin. Taste has sweet candied date & raisin in a syrupy, caramelly malt body surrounded by smoky notes, salty medicin and bitterish herbs & wood. Herbal hoppy finish offering dried fruits, smoky tobacco, syrup, soaked wood and lots of peated whisky alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Excellent brew, this combination works exceptionally well in my opinion.

Can from Beers@Moviefun. Hazy ochre, thin, white head. Aroma of ripe pineapple, peach, tangerine, rambutan, bread dough & crust, starch, vague onion. Taste has sweetish peach & pineapple, sourish tangerine flesh & some bitter grapefruit juice in a doughy, starch-like malt body with spicy, softly dank notes. Floral hoppy finish, spicy, juicy stonefruit & tangerine. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Does have that 'hazy starch' element but offers a pleasant balance between juicy and spicy.

Bottled. Jet plack with beige head. Quite astringent liquorice, fading nuts, slightly metallic. Malty and roasty. Possibly been saved for too long despite the BBF being well over a year from now.

On tap at La Pirata, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose is full of bitter piney hops, citrus, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with lots of piney and citrus hops dominating upfront, with a crisp biscuity malt backbone. Bitter, crisp and almost somewhat dank. Nicely done.

Can. Cloudy orange, looks like mango juice. Massive juicy hops, alcohol, oats, light sour fruits, hop burn, raw green dank hops. Medium sweet and over medium bitter. Medium bodied. Way over the top, blech.
