Draft/Fest. A- Cherry, blackberries, tart. A- Reddish copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Tart, cherries, mixed berries. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Solid beer. Not funky and a good amount of tartness. The blackberries come through but you can still taste the base beer. Pretty good stuff.

Draft/Fest. A- Corn, grass, funk. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Tart, funky. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish. O- The aroma didn’t seem to fit the beer. Smelled like a pilsner but sure drank like a sour. Not too bad but needs some tuning.

Draft at Farnam House. Pitch black in color, on nitro. Aroma dark chocolate, coffee grounds, ash.
The flavor is spot on the style and the nitro provides a wonderful mouthfeel. It was a perfect way to end my trip at this nice little establishment!!

Draft at Farnam House. Dirty brown in color with no head. Aroma is like ever other sour brown I have ever had. Cherry skins, oak and hints of vinegar.
Don’t follow my review has a base for judging. I really don’t like the style, I Was just filling up the second taster flight. To much funky oak and vinegar for my liking.

Draft at the source. Very dark brown color, thin white head. Aroma is Munich, chocolate malts, hints of yeast. Flavor has notes of dark bread, yeast through the center and ends in a chocolate like finish. Medium to full body for the style. The alcohol is also hidden. Nice drink.

Draft at Farnam House. Deep ruby color, thin ring of head. Aroma is light yeast with dark fruits, toffee and mild booze.
The flavor is a direct reflection of the aroma. Dark fruit and toffee heavy. Very mild warming after the finish. Honestly for a young wheat wine it is still rather drinkable. If this was bottled, it would age and mellow nicely, I think.
