Description
Like many of the great stories of American entrepreneurs, our story begins in a garage! The first batch of beer was made in the spring of 2003. It wasn't great, but we drank it and it sparked a passion that eventually morphed into The B.R.I.
More than anything else, The B.R.I. is a gathering place for Craft Beer drinkers in and around Mesa, Arizona. It's Independent and Local. It's the third place, not home or work, but the place you want to be with your family, your friends and a pint of your favorite beer!
The Brew pub hold's a special place in our heart. It's the town hall. It's church to some. It's where the revolution began! For hundreds of years, people have went to their local taverns, pubs or breweries and now our brewery and restaurant is part of that Craft Beer history in Mesa.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a thin bright white head. The aroma offers up sweetness and Belgian yeast spiciness as well as thin soft citrus and tropical fruity hoppiness. The taste delivers pretty crisp mango and tangerine hoppiness amid the sugary sweet malts and spicy Belgian yeastiness. Itβs crisp and rich and sweet too creating a pleasing balance. Iβm really digging the hop forwardness for this style. It works well.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head. The modest aroma offers up pear and peach like fruity esters and then spicy notes blended with a mild level of tangelo and mango fruity hoppiness. The taste delivers pleasing hops with mango, pineapple and tangelo flowing quickly into sweet malts and estery sweet peach and pear and sweet apple. Nice where the hops cut through the sweet and bigness of this "saison."

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear amber body that supports a thin white head. The aroma offers up brown sugar, caramel and molasses flowing into spicy dates and some prunes. The taste delivers sweet malts, sweet molasses, sweet date and prune like fruitiness. To midway the molasses and brown sugar and caramel bubble to the surface creating an added smoothness to the experience. Pretty nice

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a nice deep dark murky brown body that supports a tight tan head of foam. The aroma offers up malty, roasty and sweet nutty goodness. The taste delivers smooth almost soft malts and dark roasted malts and some sweet nuttiness. To midway the malts turn more roasty and burnt with chocolate malts and sweet malt nuttiness murmuring underneath. These guys nail roasty beers. Solid.

Pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a thin almost bright white head. The aroma bursts with pineapple, tangerines, some mango and then modest boozy hot pineapple into the end of the draw. The taste delivers rich tropical fruit juiciness thatβs pineapple, cantaloupe, some tangerines and mango. It is juicy from front to back with only a moderate degree of hop bitterness. The big abv is there but still hidden pretty well. Solid iipa sipper. Damn! Well done.

Pours with a clear deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up Clementine, cantaloupe and pineapple fruity hoppiness with a light spicy Belgian sensation in the background. The taste begins smooth and softness on the palate slowly unleashing citrus hop bitterness and juiciness. I get Clementine, tangelo and pineapple hoppiness. To midway it picks up a modest degree of spicy Belgian yeasty notes as the hop bitterness grows to a moderate level and folds into a honey note. This is my kind of Belgian ipa where the ipa is far forward of the Belgian character.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear deep amber colored body that supports a tall tan head of foam. The aroma offers up roasty malts, burnt malts and a dash of chocolate malts. The taste delivers a pleasing rich malt roastiness that quickly gets into burnt malts. Behind the malty roastiness lurks modest sweet malts and hop bitterness. Another solid roasty offering. These guys can really deliver rich roasty brews. Yes!
