Hand pumped at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours unattractive light brown, fairly opaque, with fine white foam. Aroma is malty and earthy, delicate. Body is average, actually a little dense than that, with very little carbonation. Taste has a moderate earthy bitterness, with a bit of malty sweetness in the back. Final is earthy, a little chewy.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, with some red reflections, and very fine cream foam, moderate in size. Aroma is of caramel, burnt, molasses. Body is average, with weak carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet, even with a nice longish final.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours partially opaque, rather pale yellow, with medium grained white foam. Aroma is a little funky, sea salt. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is intensely sapid, moderately sour. Some sweetness too. Final astringency is marked.

Pours mid to light amber with a medium sized, quite compact white head. Good retention, moderate lacing. Nicely fresh and vivid aroma with upfront fruitiness (a nice profile: tangerine, grapefruit, lighter hints of tropical fruits), floral notes and some grassiness in the background (maybe the slightest resinous/piney hint). Taste profile follows the aroma, maybe with a slightly less bright/defined fruity component (a bit of sweet/jam-like character to it). A slightly fragrant grainy/crackery base, delicate grassy notes (as mentioned with the slightest resinous hint). Overall pretty intense in bitterness but also quite sweet, with a balanced (fruity) mouth and a bitter edge in a dry (grassy/floral) finish. Medium body, average to high carbonation, pretty lively on the mouth but still goes down easily. A nice double ipa.
