Slightly cloudy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of funk, stale malt, light salt, a ton of coriander seed, touches of curacao and a bunch of very skunky, foul malt notes throughout. Light-bodied; Very noticeable coriander seed flavours at first with a relatively mellow malt bite, some subtle curacao and orange flavours and a hint of grass, but that coriander seed is super pungent and easily the most strong note throughout this entire beer. Aftertaste shows the funky malts and complexities, but that coriander seed is a very strong flavour and probably overshadows the profile in a less than kind way. Overall, a decent beer at best with a hint of nice flavours, but the stale malt and funky complexities make this decent and worth trying if you like the style (although this one really isn’t a gose, but more of a wheat ale or a typical german hef - this is prettly subtle throughout, after the first few days, especially. I sampled this 50 cL very tall bottle purchased from La Marche de Saveurs du Quebec, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18-September-2016 for CA$4,95 sampled at home in Washington on 12-May-2017.
