750ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, hints of liquorice, fruity notes of cherry and plum, lately developing BA notes of oak, leather, vanilla, Bourbon. Taste is initially roasty, chocolately dark malty, dry notes of oak and leather, later slightly more sweet, with hints of caramel, toffee, vanilla, Bourbon, bitter hoppy counterpart, a touch of liquorice, minimally tart, fruity hints of morello and plum. Minimally disharmonious, heterogeneous, disintegrated at some stages.

Optisch echt klasse, superschöne Flasche wie aus einer anderen Zeit, das Bier im schönen Kupferbraun mit sehr stabilen Sahneschaum. In der Nase schönes Zitrus, nicht zu derb. Im Trunk schön zwischen Malz und Fruchthopfen abgemischt, mittig leicht süß, dann bitter. Spät trocken. Prima Ding.

Bouteille 500ml. De couleur rousse et voilée. Nez fruité (confiture de fraises) avec des notes de pain. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture aux petites notes crémeuses. Goût fruité sucré aux notes acides (fraises naturelles, notes de confiture de fraises) dès l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute des notes de grains et de pain puis en finale l’on retrouve un regain de goût fruité avec des traces herbeuses. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, très légèrement acide de fruits (fraises) avec des traces herbeuses.

Tap at Brody’s. Clear dark reddish brown with small beige head. Strong bourbon, sweet toffee, fudge, light red berries, light wood, brown sugar, light alcohol, dead leaves. Very sweet and just medium bitter. Almost full bodied with slick feel. Nice!
