Sample from a bottle shared by Brad at Jackie O’s as part of Ohio Brew Week. The beer is a clear amber-orange color with a medium frothy off-white head that burns away quickly. Sticky rings of lacing. Aroma of toasted bread and caramel malt. Medium body with flavors of sweet toasted malt, milk chocolate and some fruit. The finish is sweet and malty, with a very light hops aftertaste. Just average overall.

22oz bottle at the DC local tasting. Pours a transparent, purplish black with a wispy white head. Aroma catches you off guard... in a good way: spicy, pine, lemons, flowers. Flavor is all citrus, orange rinds, lemons, pine. Medium bodied, smooth finish.
