A big beer on tap experience at the Bocktown; the real beer place in Robinson. Whew, but doesn’t seem like 9%. Brownish pale yellow and rather clear. Pond topping. Furthermore this has been the highest furthermore I’ve had. Smells like a stronger beldgy ale and it is, a strong beldgy. Wew, quite a big personality. Not as refined as real old country but approaches to no end. A little difficult for a lager lover. Big buss on first draft. Barely any CO2. Much much aroma, made my olfactory go numb with volatie gasses. Ruff and at time rude fer sure. Quite medicine finsh, almost rude but in a good way.

Draft at Old Fashioned and in a 12oz bottle. Murky tan-brown. Soapy off-white head laces the glass. A really solid IPA, something missing in the WI market. Very hop-forward but also quite well balanced, with chewy caramel malt tones. While most Furthermore products can be stylistically eccentric, this one is straight down the middle US IPA. Awesome.

On tap at Town Hall. Poured a clear reddish amber with a near white head that dissipated slowly to the edges and laced nicely. Aroma was full of beet and grain with a slight tartness and a bit of pepper in the finish to add spice. Flavor began with a light beet note and a slight tartness with a hint of pepper. Definitely a unique beer.

12 ounce bottle opened 9/27/10. Sadly, I don’t remember who sent this my way. Pours a hazy vibrant strawberry color with a thick, creamy tan head. Medium sized with good retention and lacing. Aroma of tart berries, earthy notes and a spicy finish. The taste is very peppery, almost akin to chili peppers, but with no heat. Some other subtle vegetal notes before a tart, fruity finish. Medium bodied.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers 6 Pack this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a small white head that produces some lacing. The aroma was tart, fruity, citric and a bit yeasty. The flavor was tart, tangy and bitter with notes of lemon, perfume and bread. The finish was long, bitter, tart and citric. Medium body. Uninspired.

Dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate and caramel with a band-aid note. Dry and thin chocolate flavour with a touch of peat smoke.

Red amber with a small white head. Aroma has lots of pepper, some caramel and fruit. Fruity and caramel flavour with lots of pepper and a medium hot finish. Quite interesting, but wouldn’t be my go-to pale ale

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Poured black with a light brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was quite smokey with plenty of roasted malt. Flavor was slightly dry with roasted and smoked malt and a bit of coffee.. The beer was a bit thin for my liking.

Bottle. Pours a lovely brownish red with minimal head and kind of roasty/nutty/sweet aromas that remind me of caramel and brown sugar coated almonds. Flavor is borderline cloying up front, but then coffee kicks in and it gets a little more interesting before heading back to a fairly sugary aftertaste.

Draft at Old Fashioned. Crazy unfiltered red color, looks like fruit punch. Sweet, fruity aroma, not unlike artificial cherry. Sugary, completely unique stuff. The beets impart a fruity tang, but the hops balance it out. Pink grapefruit aftertaste, in mellow, subdued way. I didn’t realize there was Brett in it at the time. An odd mixed up beer.
