Der Antrunk kommt frisch, spritzig und sauer herb mit schönen Sauerkirschnoten. Der Körper zeigt sich mit mäßiger Fülle, guter Rezenz, wenig Textur und hoher Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch selbstverständlich fruchtig-sauer mit Noten der Sauerkirsche und kräftigem Wildhefecharakter. Absolut stiltypisch und letztendlich sogar mit einer leichten Komplexität.

Cask at The Queen Vic, Aberdeen. It pours crystal clear pale straw yellow with a thick. And sturdy, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, vibrant tropical fruits, juicy fruit chewing gum, ripe pineapple, mango, Hubba bubba tropical, grapefruit and candied peel. The taste is firmly dry, green bitterness which builds and lingers, pithy, zesty, waxy citrus peel, lemon, pomelo, grapefruit, floral, slightly soapy, herbal accents and some peppery spice with a zesty finish. Light+ body and well appointed cask carbonation. More bright and tropical on the aroma, with more citrus driven vibes on the taste.

Optisch hellgelb und kräftig opaltrüb. Im Duft nimmt man leichte Noten von Minze und Kümmel/Fenchel wahr. Feinrezenter, minzig-herber Antrunk. Leichter Körper mit feiner Rezenz, wenig Textur und guter Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch leicht säuerlich, gut herb mit leichtem Minzecharakter. Trocken-herber Nachtrunk mit etwas komisch wirkender Aromatik.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per il caffè. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone castagno ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio in buon equilibrio con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona e duratura. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, pane tostato, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi, vaniglia e frutta passita.

Aroma of pale malt, some citrus, grain, soft hoppy notes. Flavour is light sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Didn’t get much Nelson, more of a noble hop profile, like you’re drinking an extra hoppy Lager. An okay beer, but not what the bottle label promises.

From tap at Oersoep Craft Beer Festival, Nijmegen. Aroma of gherkin, cucumber, touch of citrus. Flavour is similar. Didn’t get much mint, fortunately. Very refreshing and light drinkable stuff, suitable for a hot summer day. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is malt, caramel, hops, bit candied fruits, buttery notes, orange, touch of toffee and soapy notes. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter with a bittersweet finish. Body is medium, bit sticky. Not bad, but not exactly what I look for in an IIPA.
