Description
We are Fyne Ales, a family-owned Scottish farm brewery. When our brewery was founded in 2001, the goal was not only to make the best quality beer, but to bring jobs, industry and tourism to our community and our quiet corner of rural Scotland. We’ve continued brewing in this spirit ever since. Drawing water from the hills and brewing in converted farm buildings, we create modern, ambitious and progressive beers in a wide variety of styles.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A bright amber pour with a ring of white head; grainy aroma; grainy taste with a light herbal bitterness and some orange; then a dry biscuity finish. Pleasant.

Cask (gravity) at Standing Order, Derby. Pours golden amber with minimal off-white head. The aroma has honey and caramel plus some hoppy hints. In the mouth it is sweet and slightly juicy, but also somewhat watery. Flavour has oranges and caramel plus hints of herbs and floral hops. Some malts in the finish. This is OK, but decidedly bland.
