A bit too sweet for an IPA, caramel malts loaded on top of a soapy, floral hop base. Mild citric notes add a pleasant orange-tangerine undercurrent, but the hops never register strong enough to offset the heavy malts.

Hopped-up saison, and at least the nose seems right, bright and grassy with slight banana-clove sweetness. Looks okay, cloudy gold with a slight head and minor lacing. Taste never quite finds its mark; saison notes offer up hay and sweet grass and wheat, some clove and banana, yet the hops are far too strong, overpowering the brew with a fierce medicinal bitterness. Citric hops might be nice, but this brewβs all resin and pine on the back end. Off-balance, I guess.

This is more foul than an instant red card. Pours brown with ok head. Astringent and acrylic. Chemically finish. Tap at Beer Sellar

Heavy citrus all the way through, almost acidic enough to mimic a mild sour. Nice piney bitterness tightens up the finish, but the heavy grapefruit middle obliterates any subtleties. Mild caramel malt sweetness adds orange to the mix, but things get cloy as the brew warms. With all the delicious citrus hops (usually) available, this style of fruit IPA seems kinda pointless. Pretty, though.

Tasty hopped-up Belgian, sweet and grassy with a modest summer-corn middle and a huge pine-n-citrus hop back end. A yeasty fruitiness runs underneath, leading to bready, bitter fade. Pours a lovely cloudy gold, smells of weed and a field full of Belgo-lovinβ. Canβt complain about that.

Solid coffee pale, with a modest caramel sweetness on the front. Middle transitions nicely between the malts and the semi-bitter hops. Finish brings out the floral Cascade notes, and the Chinooks make the fade nice and spicy. Coffee undertone hints at acidity but never interferes with the careful pale ale balance. Tasty.

Belgian-style porter with prickly carbonation and an unexpectedly modest head. Fairly mild in all respects, with a modest sweet chocolate malt undercurrent laced with hints of roastiness. The spices are used sparingly--mostly get a hit of nutmeg on the finish--keeping the beer rather light for its pumpkin pie aspirations.

Lovely pour, hazy and gold, but the nose is almost completely absent. Breadlike malts with a hint of toffee/caramel sweetness, backed by an unexpected tart streak. Hops are mild, providing a modest bitter finish closer to an English Pale than an American. Fade is brief and weak.
