Pour is a hazy yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma is very spicy and yeasty. Flavor is somewhat yeasty and there is a detection of banana and cloves but not much. Overall very watery and this brings the score down. There are better hefe’s out there.

Bottle - Thanks to Sebastian (DerDoppelbock) for trading. No head. Hazy, dark caramel coloured body. Aroma of sweet malts (caramel). Quite good balance, but not extremely good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Neuschwansteiner Das Echte". Clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Soft, malty aroma. Medium body with sweet malts - perhaps a bit heavy on CO2 - and a very discreet hopping. A very clasical Helles. 190806

Test vom 21.7.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,13,12,12,13,13 - 12,20
