An orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty and again with strong notes of caramel - so much so, that the mouthfeel is somewhat sticky.

Die Schaumkrone ist allerdings wirkloch meisterlich, nach 2 Minuten immernoch wie beim einschenken. Aufgrund des unsagbar schlechten Ettikets hät ich diesem Bier liebend gern das Prädikat schlecht aufgedrückt, was leider nicht möglich ist. Allerdings kann ich das Prädikat "Meisterlich gebraut" entschärfen, nicht gleich übertreiben. Herb und angenehm würzig ist das Bier im Mittelteil, wobei sich der würzie Teil im Abgang noch verstärkt. Bittere Aromen, so hat man das Gefühl, werden unterdrückt, um das Bier massentauglicher zu machen. Das ist im Großen und Ganzen auch gelungen, das Bier ist insgesamnt gut trinkbar und spigelt zur WM ein typisches Masenbier wieder. Die Vorrunde übersteht das Bier locker, ich würde sagen aus im Viertelfinale. Test vom 21.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,10,10,10,1,10 - 9,85

Bottle. Freshly hoppy, grassy aroma. Golden colour, small unstable white head. Malty flavour and a good mouthfeel. Enough residual sugar to balance the alcohol. Pleasant, medium carbonation.

Bottled. Dark amber with a dense but diminishing beige head. Sweet and malty aroma with toffee and hops. The flavor is maybe a bit on the sweet side, lightly roasted and malty with some alcohol and hops. It feels lightly sticky on the palate. The finish starts sweet, but turns bitter. Ok beer, but it is not as balanced as I could wish for. (060422)

Bei diesem TEst dürfte ich mich Jevers Zeuge anschließen: "antrunk malzig, honigaroma, süßlich. zur mitte hin hopfiger, doch die süße bleibt dominierend. etwas klebrig. der abgang zeigt sich zunehmend herber, aber ohne wirklich herb zu werden." Genau so isses. Ich würde die Wässrigkeit im Abgang noch erwähnen. Insgesamt ist der Bock zu lasch, dafür zu süß. Test vom 27.4.2006 Noten: 6,5,7,5,11,6 - 6,10

Pour is a ruby red with a small white head. Aroma is hard to detect with some notes of caramel. Flavor is of tons of raisions with some toffee, candy sugar and brown sugar. A pretty good beer and by far the tastiest from this brewer.

(swing top bottle) Hazy golden colour with a giant but also collapsing rocky white foam. Sweet wheat-worty banana aroma with cloves. Initially sweet wheaty flavour and taste with the usual yeasty banana notes; light to medium bodied, subdued cloves in the sweet thinish finish. Very unspectacular and a bit too sweet Weizen.

Aroma: slight floral/fruit covering light grains and bread. Color is very pale and carbonation is heavy but leaves just a trace of a white head. If you feel like you really need a rather bland and watery beer, this would be a good choice. It isn’t bad, just doesn’t have much character.
